About
I originally came to College Station to attend Texas A&M. I became involved in numerous organizations, including the Student Government Association and College Republicans.
In 2007, I opened my first business, Texas Ave. Cigars. For a while after we opened, I was working 50-60 hours a week and going to school full-time.
During the 2008 election year, I was a member of the Brazos County delegation to the State Republican Convention, and later a member of the Texas delegation to the Republican National Convention.
I have also served as the Republican precinct chair for Precinct 35 A/B. In addition, I am a member on the Communications Committee and the Leadership Committee of the Brazos County Republican Party. I spoke at the first TEA Party rally in Bryan, and at the Hands Off Texas rally. I was also a strong supporter of the Red Light Camera petition and election to overturn that ordinance.
I have decided to run for City Council in order to bring a fresh perspective to city government. As a business owner and an Aggie who has chosen to settle down and invest in the future of this community, I feel that I can bring a view to the council that isn't currently well represented.
I promise nothing less than to work hard to earn your respect and your vote, to talk to the voters and listen to their concerns. Having accomplished a number of things over the past few years, while having attended Texas A&M and working hard every day, I can promise you that if elected, I will effectively represent the citizens of College Station.
I look forward to meeting with you, and hearing your concerns.
